At the wheel of his Mason Motorsports Trophy Truck equipped with BFGoodrich T/A KR3 tires, Luke McMillin won the closest race in the history of the Baja 500, as Alan Ampudia and Bryce Menzies finished on the podium less than 28 seconds behind the winner!

Two hundred vehicles lined up at the start of the 58th edition of the Baja 500 in Ensenada, Mexico, ready to tackle a 468-mile course through Baja California. At the wheel of his BFGoodrich-equipped Trophy Truck, Christopher Poolvorde had secured pole position in qualifying.

After more than nine hours of racing on dusty, rocky trails, Luke McMillin (Trophy Truck No. 83/BFGoodrich) was declared the winner, 12 seconds ahead of Alan Ampudia and 28 seconds ahead of Bryce Menzies. Luke McMillin claimed his first victory in the Baja 500, and his second of the season following the Baja 250 last March.
