BFGoodrich secures 1-2 honors, plus the 2024 Ultimate world titles in Morocco

The Dacia Sandrider’s competitive debut saw Nasser Al-Attiyah and Sébastien Loeb steer the newcomer to first and second places at Rallye du Maroc on BFGoodrich T/A KDR3 tires. Toyota and Al-Attiyah wrapped up the FIA W2RC’s world titles in the Ultimate class with BFGoodrich.

The final round of the 2024 FIA World Rally-Raid Championship in Morocco served as a valuable last dress-rehearsal for teams ahead of January’s Dakar thanks to its itinerary of some 2,500 kilometers of rocky trails and sand dunes in the south of the country.

All of the prototypes competing in the headlining Ultimate class contested the event on BFGoodrich T/A KDR3 tires, including the new Dacia Sandriders, Ford Raptors and Mini JCW X-Raids.The Dacias completed the distance in first and second places in the hands of Al-Attiyah and Loeb, with Guillaume de Mevius (Mini) following in third place. Carlos Sainz (Ford Raptor) and Lucas Moraes (Toyota Hilux) both won a stage each.

It is Al-Attiyah’s third world crown on BFGoodrich rubber, while Toyota clinched the 2024 Manufacturers’ title, again with BFGoodrich.
