California 300 – The top six places for BFGoodrich in Barstow
UNLIMITED OFF-ROAD RACING SERIES – California 300
BFGoodrich runners monopolized the top six places at the 2024 Unlimited Off-Road Racing Series finale which was won by Eric Hardin’s Unlimited Truck 2WD.
Based in Barstow, southern California, USA, the California 300 took the form of four laps of a course of almost 75 miles, totaling practically 300 miles of rocky, dusty trails.
Competitive action kicked off at 8am Sunday and Hardin completed the day at the top of the order in his #79 BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR3-equipped Unlimited Truck 2WD. His winning margin over arch-rival and fellow Unlimited Truck 2WD/BFGoodrich driver Adam Householder was 1m37s after the two men were split by just 47 seconds heading into the last loop.
The outcome in the Unlimited Truck SPEC class was similarly settled on the last leg, with Jack Olliges finally getting the better of Cole Hardin and James Scully – all racing on BFGoodrich rubber.
Adam Householder (2WD) and Cole Potts (4WD) clinched the season’s Unlimited Truck titles with BFGoodrich, while Potts earned the overall Unlimited crown.
