BFGoodrich 30th Anniversary of Le Mans Victory

In 1984 BFGoodrich Tires and Mazda North America partnered with Jim Busby Racing to race a Mazda-Lola T616 on experimental BFGoodrich T/A Radial tires in the World Endurance Championship C2 class.  The highlight of the season being a C2 class win and 10th place overall finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans by car #68 driven by John Morton, John O’Steen, and Yoshimi Katayama; with the sister car #67 finishing 3rd and 12th overall.

In May 2014 Le Mans winning driver John Morton was reunited with car #68 and ran in the Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires race in a retro liveried car at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA.
